Qualities like taste, innovation, sustainability and performance are what matter most to consumers and brand owners – which is why aluminum packaging takes the lead in the beverage industry. The Open Up to Cans campaign, developed by the Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI), showcases how beverage cans provides appealing, practical and beneficial features to brands and consumers alike. The campaign is supported by a series of research reports commissioned by the CMI between 2012 and 2015. 

Innovation

New developments in canning include removable tops, temperature indicators and dynamic shapes, all of which make a lasting impression with customers. 44 percent of consumers agreed that cans are the best packaging for delivering cool graphics, and 72 percent said the shapes, images and designs on cans catch their eye more than other beverage containers.

Bold, colorful beverage cans allow for the most attractive and high-quality graphics. With a 360 degree billboard, cans are the best packaging method for highlighting your brand’s unique appeal.
