Orbit™ Closure

The innovative Orbit™ Closure consists of two parts: a central, floating panel that is vacuum sealed to the jar and an outer ring that provides further product protection and acts as the opening and re-closing device. This revolutionary design significantly reduces opening torque and enhances convenience for consumers of all ages.

The Orbit™ Closure is suitable for all types of processes used for glass jars, including pasteurization and sterilization. Brand owners adopting the Orbit™ Closure do not need to make significant changes to existing capping machinery. Glass finishes can also remain exactly the same.

The Orbit™ Closure is manufactured using proven materials to ensure food safety compliance. Biotests and long-term storage have also been executed to confirm pack integrity.

Twist

As Crown's most popular profile, the Twist provides excellent oxygen barrier performance for long shelf life. The universal lug closure is suitable for hot, cold and aseptic filling of various food and beverage applications. It is also compatible with applications requiring pasteurization and sterilization.

Customers can choose from a wide range of profiles (Stepped, Deep and Fluted) to enhance the visual appeal of packages on the retail shelf. Additional distinction can be achieved with high quality conventional or UV printing, available in up to 9 brilliant colors.

Eco Cap

This stylish vacuum twist cap features a slanted side wall profile to enhance product differentiation and abuse resistance. The Eco Cap can be used with applications requiring hot, cold and aseptic filling (with no treatment), pasteurization or sterilization.

As with all Crown closures, high quality graphics can be incorporated to boost visual appeal.

Press Twist (PT)

Designed to provide easy-open convenience for applications like baby food, this metal vacuum closure is designed for press on application and twist removal. The PT Closure offers excellent barrier performance for long shelf life, while its side-wall compound enhances abuse resistance.

The PT Closure can be used for hot fill, pasteurized and retort (sterilized) filling processes

Continuous Thread (CT)

Designed to give packaging a classic "home-made" appearance, our Continuous Thread (CT) Closures offer excellent sealing properties for extended shelf life. Easy to reclose, glass jars or bottles with CT Closures can be reused as storage containers, lengthening consumer exposure to brand messaging and identity. CT Closures are compatible with a range of vacuum and non-vacuum packed applications

Compatible with vacuum and non-vacuum packed applications, the closure is also ideal for home bottling applications due to its ability to vent during the heating process.

For the Americas market, this closure features a plastisol liner to form a hermetic seal and is designed for use with a standard 400, 405 or 450 glass finish.

Flex®

This sleek closure features a large surface area and smooth skirt for decoration or brand messaging. An attractive alternative to the Continuous Thread (CT) Cap for non-vacuum applications, the Flex® closure also offers easy application, removal and reseal.

Flex® closures can incorporate either pressure sensitive or adhesive (glued) innserseals, providing tamper evidence and a barrier against oxygen and moisture to protect products and improve shelf life. Printed innserseals are also available, offering additional brand distinction.
