Containers

Novelty Finishes

Crown has extensive expertise with many printing techniques that can turn products into exciting luxury packages. We also dedicate significant resources to the development of new decorative elements, giving marketers an expanding range of options to choose from.

Crackle Finish
  • Finish designed to resemble leatherette; adds an 'ageing' feel to traditional designs.
Hessian Effect
  • A varnish creating an overall net or grid line effect on the metal's surface.
Hologram / Mirror Effect
  • A laminate film is applied to the metal surface, creating a glittering mirror image or a holographic design.
Metallic Effect
  • Enhances metal's inherent dazzling, metallic appearance.
Soft Touch
  • This varnish produces a matte, paper-like finish and is applied over the entire package for maximum effect. Finish is highly tactile, encouraging consumers to reach out, touch and examine products.
Sparkling Effect
  • A coating that makes metal sparkle in spot light. Ideal for plain or colored applications.
Spot Matte & Matte Effect
  • Provides an overall matte effect or a complimentary finish to the original shine and gloss of metal.
Thermochromic Ink
