Crown to Showcase Style and Substance at ADF
The Aerosol & Dispensing Forum and Packaging of Perfumes Cosmetics & Design 2019 (ADF & PCD) (January 30 – 31; Paris, France), is the perfect platform to showcase Crown’s latest advances in aerosol and cosmetics packaging design and technology. The Company has a robust portfolio to offer brand owners in both markets and is proud to be present at this year’s show (Booth #P18).

Fine Sparkle finishes, which feature actual sparkling elements that make plain finishes twinkle in the light, will be introduced at ADF&PCD, alongside a new and improved Pearlescent finish, a shimmering varnish that is ideal for aerosol applications. Crown will also showcase designs featuring Glitter and Glow in the Dark varnishes.

Featured at ADF&PCD, CrownConnect™, based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and developed in partnership with EVRYTHNG, a GS1 solution provider, allows consumers to scan unique 2D codes on cans and learn about the provenance of the product and its journey to the retail shelf. The codes also facilitate promotional activities, including online games and competitions, providing valuable purchasing data to help marketers shape future activities.
The icing on the cake is the sustainable nature of metal as a packaging material, which includes being 100% and infinitely recyclable - contributing directly to a circular economy. Further, the metal aerosol can have, in a sense, created a circle of benefits all of its own. It can be decorated to appeal, can provide advanced interaction between brand and consumer and, through its infinite recyclability, can continue to deliver its benefits over and over again with zero loss of quality.
