Crown Reinforces European Capabilities At Aerosol & Dispensing Forum 2018
Philadelphia, PA – January 31, 2018 – Crown Aerosols and Specialty Packaging Europe, a business unit of Crown Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK) (Crown) (www.crowncork.com), is showcasing a wide range of aerosol, cosmetic and promotional gift tins at the Aerosol & Dispensing Forum 2018 (ADF), which opens today in Paris, France. The show also gives Crown a platform to highlight the benefits of recent investments in manufacturing and logistics facilities in Europe, including shorter lead times, improved delivery times and greater access to technical and sales administration services.
For example, the services provided at Crown’s aerosol printing facility in Hoorn, Netherlands have expanded to include production of 52-, 57- and 65mm diameter cans. In addition, Crown has opened a new logistics hub in Puurs, Belgium, strengthening its ability to deliver high quality packaging quickly and efficiently. The Benelux region is a hub for Crown’s customers operating in the food, beverage and aerosol sectors, and these investments will support increasing demand in the area and enhance distribution capabilities.
At the show, Crown will also highlight how decoration and print finishes can help customers differentiate themselves at the point-of-sale and attract consumer attention. Finish options include gloss and matte, which can be used individually or combined to add movement to a design; pearlescent, which adds a shimmering varnish; soft touch, which creates a silky-smooth feel that consumers will want to engage with; and sparkle, which adds an eye-catching twinkle. Crown’s experts are available at Stand P18, Hall 7 to discuss visitors’ needs and requirements and to explain how metal packaging can build brand sales and loyalty.
Veronique Curulla, Marketing Director at Crown Aerosols and Specialty Packaging Europe, commented: “We are pleased to be back at ADF to showcase our technology portfolio and to demonstrate our investment and expansion in Europe. The large variety of shapes, sizes and decorative finishes across our aerosol and specialty packaging range will give visitors insight into what can be accomplished with metal packaging today.”
Curulla added: “Metal is still the preferred pack format for aerosols due to its performance and product protection capabilities. Consumers also favor the container for its sustainability credentials, including its ability to be infinitely recycled without loss of properties. We look forward to another successful show and to welcoming existing and new customers to the stand.”
