Crown Cork & Seal Signs Can Shaping License Agreement With Amcor Limited

(NYSE: CCK), announced today the signing of another technology license agreement with Amcor Limited, the leading beverage can manufacturer in Australia and New Zealand. This license will allow Amcor to use Crown's proprietary can shaping technology for the shaping of beverage cans in different sizes in Australia and New Zealand. Crown's market leading shaping technology has been effectively used by Crown's customers to emphasize brand identity and to differentiate new products on the retail shelf. This innovation has been successfully used in Europe and North America to develop new business for Crown and its customers.

Crown recently also announced a technology license agreement with Amcor Limited for the use of Crown's patented SuperEnd(TM) beverage end technology. SuperEnd(TM) beverage end technology offers performance and cost advantages that have positioned SuperEnd(TM) to become the new global standard for beverage ends.
